Fernie Snowmobile Association Vintage Poker Ride & Snowarama Fundraiser a Huge Success
The Fernie Snowmobile Association (FSA) Vintage Poker Ride & Snowarama Fundraiser, held on Sunday, February 15, 2026, was a fantastic success and a great day for the local riding community.
Hosted at the Coal Creek Staging Area and Rolling Hills Cabin, the event brought together riders, enthusiasts, and supporters for a day that celebrated Fernie’s deep-rooted snowmobiling culture while supporting a meaningful cause. The turnout was exceptional, with a large number of participants showing up with vintage sleds, classic gear, and plenty of enthusiasm for the ride.
Pacesetter Equipment was proud to support the event for the Fernie Snowmobile Association with BaseCamp Motorsports, helping bring the community together around a shared passion for winter adventure and giving back. The vintage poker ride offered participants a chance to take their classic machines out on the trails, reconnect with fellow riders, and enjoy the incredible winter scenery the Fernie area is known for.
This year’s ride also doubled as a Snowarama Fundraiser! For over 45 years, Snowarama has been the BC Snowmobile Federation’s charity of choice. Across BC, clubs have raised over $4 million to support children and families in need through Easter Seals programs.
Events like this highlight what makes the snowmobiling community so special, strong local support, a love for the outdoors, and a commitment to helping others. With such an impressive turnout and great energy throughout the day, the fundraiser proved to be a major success.
A big thank you goes out to the Fernie Snowmobile Association, all of the volunteers who made the event possible, and everyone who came out to ride and support the cause. We’re proud to be part of a community that continues to come together for events like this and look forward to many more great rides ahead.
