What type of machine do I need?

What are the maximum rental hours allowed for equipment rentals?
Maximum hours for monthly rentals: 200 hours per month.
Maximum hours for weekly rentals: 50 hours per week.
Maximum hours for daily rentals: 10 hours per day.
Over hours will be charged at 90% of the standard hourly rate.
For example:
Rental rate: $10,000 per month
Hours allowed: 200
Standard hourly rate: ($10,000 / 200 hours) = $50 per hour
Over hours rate: ($10,000 / 200 hours) X 0.90 (90%) = $45 per hour
Does Pacesetter Equipment help with heavy equipment re-rentals?
Yes. If your company has some heavy machinery or construction equipment that is not being used (for example, when the company is in between projects), consider using our equipment re-rent services.
“Re-rents” can be an excellent solution for everyone involved. Pacesetter Equipment completes all of the necessary rental paperwork, properly insures your equipment, and treats that equipment like our own. If you have equipment that is currently sitting unused and you would like us to put it to work for you to generate some revenue, please contact us and we will list your equipment in our Rentals section.
What attachments come with an excavator rental?
Typically, one (1) dig bucket and (1) clean-up bucket are included with excavator rentals. Sizes may vary, so please ask if you have a specific size requirement.
Does Pacesetter Equipment offer specialty attachments with equipment rentals?
If you require a compactor, ripper, hammer, or other specialized attachment to go along with your equipment rental, Pacesetter offers a variety of attachments for your needs. Please let us know at time of booking, so we can prepare your machine to run the attachments you ask for.
Does Pacesetter Equipment offer equipment rent-to-purchase options?
Yes. You may be looking at equipment rentals for now, but consider long-term plans to decide whether it is worth the investment to purchase heavy equipment through our rent-to-own purchase option. Pacesetter offers flexible and creative purchase options; however, these options must be discussed prior to completing the rates and rental agreement and taking out the machine. Please don’t hesitate to ask before your rental begins if you have any intention of buying a unit.
Does Pacesetter Equipment offer equipment transport to jobsite?
Yes. If you need to rent a larger machine but do not have equipment transport capabilities, Pacesetter offers delivery options for all of our rentals to save you time and money. Please ask us for a delivery rate.
Can Pacesetter Equipment help me locate a hard-to-find piece of heavy equipment?
Pacesetter’s equipment fleet includes hundreds of premium low-hour machines. If you have been searching for a specific piece of equipment and can’t source it, Pacesetter has an extensive number of contacts and sources throughout Canada and North America. If you don’t find what you’re looking for on our website, please inquire, as there is a good chance we can help you locate the equipment for rental or purchase.
Can Pacesetter Equipment help customers sell equipment?
If your company has surplus equipment that you would like to sell, Pacesetter has a large network of buyers and specializes in connecting these opportunities. We do consignment sales and list them on our website and in our print ads. Our knowledgeable and experienced team has the resources and connections to advertise and market the equipment for sale on your behalf.
